Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Nnekkie, we aim to create a fair and transparent experience for both students and lodge providers.

Please review this policy carefully before making a reservation through the platform.

1. Reservation Fees

To reserve a lodge, students may be required to pay a 20% reservation fee along with applicable booking or agent fees.

This reservation fee helps hold the lodge in your name and temporarily removes it from public availability.

Reservation fees are generally non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.

2. Exceptions & Disputes

If a lodge is found to be materially inaccurate, unavailable, or significantly different from the listing shown on Nnekkie, students may submit a dispute request for review.

Disputes should be raised within 48 hours of inspection, attempted move-in, or the issue occurring.

Approved disputes may qualify for a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances of the reservation.

3. Agent Fees

Agent fees help cover services connected to securing accommodation and are generally non-refundable once processed.

4. Move-In Payments

Remaining lodge balances paid during move-in are generally non-refundable after move-in has been confirmed.

If there is a serious issue with the property before move-in is completed, contact Nnekkie support immediately before making any final payment.

5. Cancelling a Reservation

If you cancel a confirmed reservation before completing move-in, the lodge may immediately become available to other students on the platform.

Reservation fees already paid may be forfeited depending on the stage of the reservation and applicable policies connected to the booking.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
